Terms and Conditions
Prices
1. All
Prices include VAT.
2. All
prices are in GBP (British Pounds) .
3. Orders will be converted from your
currency to Pounds Sterling by your
credit/debit card company through PAYPAL.
4. PAYPAL use a secure server to process
your credit/debit card transactions.
Refunds/Returns
1. If the
product you ordered is not in stock then
a full refund will be given. We will
send you an email to inform you that we
have refunded your payment. Refunds are
done through PAYPAL, and will be
automatically transferred to the
credit/debit card used to purchase.
2. Goods
can only be returned within 30 days of
purchase and must be in the same
condition they were delivered. Please
send us the items accompanied by your
name, address and email address. A full
refund of the card payment will be given
but not for the delivery charge the
customer has paid for sending the
goods to us. If items are damaged or a
mistake was made by Universal Textiles
then the charge for posting items back
to us will also be refunded.
Delivery
1. Deliveries to the UK
take approximately 5 working days for standard
delivery, we aim to dispatch all items within 24
hours starting from 9.00am the next working day from
when the order was placed for express delivery. We
do not deliveries to customers outside the UK.
2. In the case their is
a delay we will notify you through e-mail, we shall
not accept liability for late delivery by the
carrier.
3. All custom duties
and taxes applicable within a foreign territory
shall be the sole responsibility of the buyer.
4. Claims for shortages or damages will only be
accepted if we are notified buy letter or e-mail
(see 'contact us') within 28 days from the receipt
of the goods. If an item arrives damaged or is
incorrect then please return it within 28 days in
its original packaging, accompanied by an
explanation.
5. Free delivery promotions are standard delivery
and can take up to 7 working days. If
additional products are purchased then you would
need to pay delivery on those items. Also if you
select these items to be shipped using express
delivery then the order will be split, the free
postage items will be sent as standard delivery and
the other products will be sent express delivery.
6. A signature will be
required to acknowledge delivery. The signature of
the person accepting delivery at the delivery
address will be proof that you or the person, to
whom the order is addressed, has received the
delivery. This does not affect your statutory
rights.
Complaints
We aim
to respond to customer complaints within
48 hours. All complaints are treated in
the strictest of confidence, fairly and
effectively by our customer services
department. If by any chance your
complaint has not been dealt with
effectively or within 48 hours, (unless
further time is needed to elucidate the
position) you may wish to proceed to the
Customer Services Manager (see 'contact
us' for address on homepage).
